Umbrella EUA for Surgical Masks Updated on March 6, 2023

As of March 6, 2023, the FDA has updated and reissued the umbrella EUA for disposable, single-use surgical masks intended for use by healthcare professionals in healthcare settings during the COVID-19 pandemic. The revision permits the emergency use of only those surgical masks that are currently listed in Appendix A of the EUA. Please note that the FDA will no longer be adding any surgical masks to Appendix A as a result of this revision.
